Texan Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!! We had our first Thanksgiving in Texas!! It was also my first time cooking a Thanksgiving feast, I was a little nervous, but it turned out great! (At least according to Will) I love baking pies so I tried some new recipes and tried to get creative. My Pumpkin pie tasted great but didn't look as pretty as the cherrie pie. I am embarrassed to say Will and I each ate an entire pie Thanksgiving day! Chaz and his family were coming over for Thanksgiving dinner but he got called out to fly a four day trip! So it was just Will, Shandelle and I, there was so much food left over! Will was so sweet and did ALL the Thanksgiving dishes while Shandy and I took a nap! I know, I have the most amazing husband! We watched the parades, ate food and watched football! Shandelle loves watching football with her dad! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving but we missed our family and friends back in Arizona! Hope everyone had a great turkey day!
